Where is home?

Follow the provided instructions to complete today's assignment.

1. Pass out the provided paper in the folder marked Sub Plan 1.  Ensure that students have a writing utensil. 
2. Play the video "Iwan Baan: Igenious home in unexpected places" by using the following link:  https://www.ted.com/talks/iwan_baan_ingenious_homes_in_unexpected_places 
3. On one side of the provided paper, students need to put their first and last name.
4. On the same side as their names, have students make a list of 10 things that would be included in their ideal living space. (5 minutes)
5. Have students meet in group of 2-3 to discuss their lists.  Students should look for similarities and differences among their list and classmate's. (5 minutes) 
6. Students need to identify the most important aspect of their dream home and explain their choice using a Perfect Three Sentence Answer.  Include the answer on the provided sheet of paper with the list and their name.  (10 minutes)
7. On the opposite side of the paper, have students draw an image (in pencil) of what their dream home would look like.  (Until 5 minutes before the end of class.)
8. Have students clean up all supplies and materials.
9. All assignments must be turned in at the end of the hour.
