- Pass out the provided paper in the folder marked Sub Plan 1. Ensure that students have a writing utensil.
- Play the video "Iwan Baan: Igenious home in unexpected places" by using the following link: https://www.ted.com/talks/iwan_baan_ingenious_homes_in_unexpected_places
- On one side of the provided paper, students need to put their first and last name.
- On the same side as their names, have students make a list of 10 things that would be included in their ideal living space. (5 minutes)
- Have students meet in group of 2-3 to discuss their lists. Students should look for similarities and differences among their list and classmate's. (5 minutes)
- Students need to identify the most important aspect of their dream home and explain their choice using a Perfect Three Sentence Answer. Include the answer on the provided sheet of paper with the list and their name. (10 minutes)
- On the opposite side of the paper, have students draw an image (in pencil) of what their dream home would look like. (Until 5 minutes before the end of class.)
- Have students clean up all supplies and materials.
- All assignments must be turned in at the end of the hour.
